Monster Fayetteville Bass

Post  joe.plotino on Thu Sep 15, 2011 4:58 pm

So unlike most other fisherman I will divulge a pretty amazing spot that holds some possible record largemouth bass. Today I launched into this pond on my Proangler with my buddy Bobby. Within 5 minutes using a black senko with blue flake texas rigged weightless to 14lb flouro I hooked into a real beast. Truly caught me off guard. Ended up being the biggest fish I have caught yet. Unfortunately my scale was broke but regardless it is a great spot. Caught about 6 more fish after staying from 10am - 2pm. Crazy thing also was that I spooked another fish that I believe was much larger. Unreal. Some pictures:

Also for those interested in trying their luck........

Here are some additional pictures from a trip taken a few days ago with FAAN member Eric. We had a tough day as the fish were tucked way into the lily pads and refused to come out and eat. Got one fish on the surface pulling a white finesse worm across the top.

Way to go Joe those are really nice fish. I have got to get in there one of these days. So you park there in the Apartments Parking Lot and launch right in between the Apartments at those coordinates ?
