Just a quick note from me to you. I've been living in Fayetteville since 2001. My wife and I have been married for roughly 25 years. We have a son, David, who was born in May of 2001, which makes him almost 9 1/2 years old at the time of this post. Char, my wife retired from the Army in 2001. She went back to work at WOMACK in the same field that she worked in while on Active Duty.
I've been a 'Stay-at-home Dad' since our son was born. I have a big job and it seems that I'm busy most of the time. I do get to go fishing during the times between my scheduled tasks and Honey Do Lists though. David, likes to go fishing too, but my wife but does not enjoy it near as much as us boys.
We have a small jon boat. It's an Alumacraft 1236. Small enough for me to load and unload by myself. I sold my canoe and Bow Rider because they just sat around getting old and not being used. Neither one was easy for one person to launch and use. The jon boat sits around most of the time, but I can load it up myself, which makes it useful to me. The boat has a 7.5 horse Merc, an electric trolling motor, fish-finder, rod holders, a cooler with an aerator, and swivel seats. Hopefully I get to use it more in the future than in the past.
